Accelerate Colorado advocates for federal support beneficial to Colorado's business community and to the state's economy. We work with key members of Congress and other select leaders on issues critical to Colorado's economic development, especially in the areas of aerospace and defense, bioscience, health care, renewable energy, transportation and the construction of a new Veterans Administration Hospital.

The federal government has created Recovery.gov to report funding distributions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (federal stimulus).

A Leadership Committee comprised of funding partners decides all operating and policy issues for Accelerate Colorado. The Aurora Economic Development Council provides in-kind space, administrative and management services for Accelerate Colorado. Accelerate Colorado's efforts are solely funded by the annual business mission to Washington, D.C. |
